OCEAN'S THIRTEEN
Movies in Grayshott will start the 2008 programme with a showing
of Ocean’s Thirteen on Saturday 26 January 2008 at Grayshott
Village Hall.
The film, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon,
Elliott Gould and Al Pacino, is the third in the series directed
by Steven Soderbergh. Danny Ocean’s gang return to Las Vegas, to
execute revenge on a Las Vegas casino boss who has conned one of
their number out of a hotel construction deal. As always, hugely
entertaining and great fun to watch.
Commenting on the 2008 Film Programme, Barbie McSean, one of the
Movies in Grayshott organisers, said, “ We hope that we are
offering a good balance of movies to suit all tastes in what
will be our first full season. As well as evening performances
we will also be holding several matinees throughout the year.”
As in 2007, Grayshott Books is offering a box office service;
tickets can be purchased in advance from the bookshop or on the
door at a cost of £5.00 per person (u/16s £4.00).
The 2008 season gets underway with Ocean’s Thirteen (26 January
2008) and continues with Casanova (29 February 2008 @ 7.30pm),
Pride and Prejudice (4 April 2008 @ 3.00pm), The Bourne
Ultimatum (5 April 2008 @ 7.30pm), Venus (10 may 2008 @ 7.30pm),
Grow your own (7 June 2008 @ 3.00pm), The World’s Fastest Indian
(7 June 2008 @ 7.30pm). After the summer holiday period, the
films continue will Elizabeth The Golden Age (13 September 2008
@ 7.30pm), The Golden Compass (4 October 2008 @ 3.00pm), Die
Hard 4.0 (4 October 2008 @ 7.30pm) The Third Man (8 November
2008 @ 7.30pm) and Hairspray (6 December 2008 @ 7.30pm).
Also new for this year is the opportunity to purchase books of
tickets, usable at any Movies in Grayshott film show, in
advance. Movies in Grayshott is offering filmgoers the
opportunity to purchase 12 tickets for the price of 9, a saving
of £15.00 on the full price tickets. There is also an option to
purchase 6 tickets for the price of 5, making a saving of £5.00.
